Roanoke’s mayor and six council members spent a total of $34,570.67 on breakfasts, lunches, dinners, trips, gala events and conventions in 2007. That’s not a huge amount within a total city budget of more than $250 million. Still, they’re your tax dollars. Were they spent wisely?
