Branch offices and deposit amounts

How big is your bank? Once a year, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or FDIC, releases data on the market share banks have in each of the metropolitan statistical areas in the United States. In this database, you can see the latest information, dated June 30, 2007 and released in late October, for both the Roanoke and Blacksburg-Christiansburg areas. The data includes percentage of market share, number of offices in the area, amount of deposits, and more. There’s also information for 2006.
