Church history
The congregation first met on Nov. 1. But Larry Eenigenburg, the late pastor of Calvary Memorial Church, had a vision of starting churches throughout the valley more than 15 years earlier. He died in 1999, and Calvary Memorial's elder board supported the establishment of Roanoke Valley Bible Church to materialize Eenigenburg's love for the Roanoke Valley and heart for the Lord.
Service times
Sundays: 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Physical description
The congregation meets on the second floor of Elm Park Estates.
Personality of the congregation
It is a growing church -- a mixture of families, singles, single parents and children who seek to glorify God through worship and caring for others. Services focus on Christ through reading, preaching, singing and praying.
Pastor's favorite Scripture
1 Corinthians 15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord."
