Camp volunteers
The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Southwest Virginia is looking for young men age 17 or older to volunteer at its camp, July 5 to 10, at Smith Mountain Lake. Contact: 772-3237

Volunteer drivers
Bedford Ride, a nonprofit organization that provides free transportation to nonemergency medical appointments for elderly, disabled and low-income residents of Bedford and Bedford County, is seeking volunteer drivers. The organization supplies the vehicle, gas and insurance.
