In an effort to help promote Salem businesses and benefit the Salem Food Pantry, R.M. Johnson & Sons jewelry is having a drawing at the end of March for a lovely heart necklace. To get tickets is easy: just take a non-perishable food item to their store to be donated to the Salem Food Pantry. I think it would be wonderful if all Salem businesses would follow their example and collect food by having a drawing at their store for a service or goods. It's a win for everyone.
