MG is misleading people in latest issue of Salem Times. Fact: The HoD's proposed budget cuts $500K more from Salem schools than the Senate's proposed budget . . . However, the headline of a letter MG wrote to his constituents, and published in ST, insinuates that the HoD budget provides $700K more funding than another proposal. He's playing games with the $700K "savings" the HoD gets from VRS. If it weren't for this "savings", the HoD budget would actually give Salem an additional $700K cut. The "more" he's referring to is the original HoD budget. ... We can debate whether each chamber's bill is better or worse, but to mislead people like this is despicable.
