So Salem: Your Take
- "Block scheduling: Not helping high school students perform better in college science." This is the title of an article published in Inside UVA Online that addresses block scheduling. It was in the April 28-June 1, 2006 publication. Parents should read this article as part of their research on this proposal that can adversely affect our students.
- We had a great day at the Catawba Farmers' Market today! Wonderful locally grown fruits & vegetables, such as apples, pears, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, turnips, peppers, greens, cabbage, broccoli, cushaws, & more. Also country ham & grass-fed beef, along with canned jams & jellies & baked goods.
