On Saturday, Oct. 2, the Salem Civic Center hosted the Bethel Baptist Second Annual Car Show. The sun shone bright, gleaming off the polished cars, trucks and bikes that were displayed by their proud owners. The car show was a great place to mingle with the local Salem car enthusiasts!

Proceeds from the show and food sales benefitted the fundraising effort for the Bethel Baptist Family Life Center Building Fund. Each car, truck and bike entrant received a plaque displaying a photo of their car framed and mounted, in appreciation for their participation.

The main award of the Second Annual Bethel Baptist Car Show was "The Participant's Choice of Best in Show," won by Roy Reynolds of Salem. He displayed a black 1956 Ford F-100 pickup.
