About The Botetourt View
What about the print edition?
Our print edition publishes weekly. Botetourt subscribers will find it on Fridays in their regular Roanoke Times. Most non-subscribers will have it mailed to them as part of the Simply Savings advertising flier.
We also have free copies available at the Daleville Kroger, Mill Mountain Coffee & Tea in Daleville, the Hollins Kroger, the U.S. 460 Kroger and the U.S. 460 Food Lion.
If you'd like to guarantee delivery by becoming a subscriber, our circulation department can help you.

Meet our reporter, drop off your info
If you're in the neighborhood, stop by Mill Mountain Coffee & Tea at 20 Kingston Drive in Daleville, to drop off things you think we might like to see. Look for the Botetourt View dropoff box.
Also, on Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m., come by and meet our Botetourt View community journalist, Cathy Benson. She's eager to hear your ideas for covering our community.
Who are we?
Welcome to The Botetourt View. This is the community news Web site for Botetourt County. Here you will find the latest news from Botetourt produced by the staff of The Roanoke Times -- and by you, the people of Botetourt.
We're looking for the news that's important to you. School news. Personal achievements. Club events. If it's important to you and others in the community, it's important to us, and we'd like to help you share it.

A quick tour of The Botetourt View online
In the middle of the page, you'll find "The Notebook." This is our community news blog, frequently updated each weekday with reports from our Botetourt community journalist, Cathy Benson. You'll find stories and photos which might – or might not -- appear later in print. It's here where we may ask you, the reader, for help. We invite you to post comments and join in the conversation.
Below The Notebook, under sections such as "Neighbors" and "Friends," you’ll find stories that have appeared in the most recent print edition of The Botetourt View. And on the lower left, under "More Botetourt News," you’ll find stories that have appeared in the daily editions of The Roanoke Times.
How can I contribute news and photos? Use the "share" button on the left side of the page. Or e-mail us at news@botetourtview.com or directly contact Botetourt community journalist Cathy Benson at cathy.benson@botetourtview.com
Know of any Botetourt bloggers? On the upper left side of the page, you'll find our community blogroll, where we link to others who are blogging in and about Botetourt. If you're a blogger, or know someone who is, e-mail us so we can link to them.
