Good advice from local woman: "Make your dreams come true!"
It seems all too often that the negative parts of life manage to make it into the news while positive messages are left by the wayside. The Botetourt View spoke with Marilyn Parrish recently and asked her to share her good advice with our readers!
"This is a note to all senior citizens that have had a wish for years to make a point to make that wish come true while we still can.
The picture above is of myself, Marilyn Parrish of Fincastle and my friend of 20 years, Judy Donnells, who have for years wanted to make a trip to Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. Also in the picture is our driver, Richard Wills of Buchanan, who helped to make sure that the trip went smoothly and very enjoyable along with our hostess, Lois. We had to wait until we were seniors to make this trip and it was well worth the effort we made to make our wish come true. So again we hope you will think about making your dream come true."
Parrish works at Fincastle Library as an Library Assistant and had a great time on the trip. She has shared some sage advice. Make your dreams come true!
