Pete McKnight of Blue Ridge has developed some prestigious neighborhoods in Botetourt County. They are Cobblestone, Sowder Farm and currently Thorn Blade.
Yet in his younger years while working at the Charlotte Observer, he was quite the hand at photography and even before that he captured Elvis Presley in one of his debut RCA concerts.
McKnight shared some of his photographs with us. They include Elvis, Charlie Watts, a character actor, David Carradine, The Beach Boys and he has photos loaded on "Bits and Pieces" of The Dave Clark Five.
With the 40th anniversary of the moonwalk and of Woodstock it seemed the right time for a travel back in time. The 60s -- the decade that revolutionized American culture in music and thought. Enjoy!
