Cave Spring graduate J.J. Redick of Duke was one of 24 players invited by USA Basketball to the U.S. team trials for the World Championships for Young Men Qualifying Tournament.
All the players are age 20 or younger. The trials will be held July 16-18 in East Rutherford, N.J. Twelve players will be picked to play for the U.S. team at the eight-nation qualifying tournament, which will be held July 28 through August 1 in Nova Scotia, Canada.
