Members of the California capital press corps in Sacramento have been frustrated no end by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's persistent evasions of media questioning on state issues.

Yet the former movie star last week sat 45 international reporters around a conference table for an hour to discuss, among other things, his take on sexual harassment training. As for meeting with local reporters, though, Schwarzenegger has imposed a virtual quarantine.

Not content with his new career as politician, the governor now is playing the role as heavy-handed editor.
