The Roanoke Bar Association has chosen Henry Woodward of the Legal Aid Society of Roanoke Valley to receive the Frank W. "Bo" Rogers Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award. The award recognizes an outstanding lawyer who carries a tradition of professional excellence in the region.

Lauren Ellerman of Frith & Ellerman received this year's Young Lawyer of the Year Award, which recognizes a young lawyer who has demonstrated service to the Roanoke Bar Association, the community and the profession.

Woodward and Ellerman will be recognized at the Law Day celebration May 2.
