Radford University gets OK to launch doctorate of physical therapy program

Radford University has received the green light to begin recruiting students for its new doctorate of physical therapy program, which is set to launch in June.

The program has earned its "candidacy approval" from the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.

Radford said it plans to enroll 15 students the first year and 25 students each year thereafter. At full enrollment, the program will have 75 students. It will be based at Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital.
