Expandable Units

  • Available for leaderboards (728 x 90) and big box (300 x 250) ad sizes.
  • Leaderboard expanded panel: 728 x 398
  • Big box expanded panel: 500 x 250
  • User-initiated mouse-over to launch, and mouse-off to close (teaser not available).
  • If there is video or animation, the video may automatically launch, but all audio must be user-initiated within the ad.
  • File size: Max 100K

Peelbacks

  • Standard Peelback flap size of 100 x 100, with a max image size of 450 x 450 for content unless approved by the director.
  • Gateway and all content index pages (news, sports, NRV, varsity, entertainment, business, outdoors, VT football) excluding obituaries.
  • Teaser ad available for 5 seconds, frequency capped at once per user per day otherwise it is user-initiated on mouse-over.
  • If there is video or animation, the video may automatically launch, but all audio must be user-initiated within the ad.

Mobile Opportunites

Mobile (static) banner ads are available for purchase in 20k - 50k incrememnts, per month, with a 3 month minimum. Each campaign must include these 6 ad sizes and adhere to these file size limitations:
