The following are the event cancellations that The Roanoke Times has received so far. Cancellations will also be posted on our events calendar. If you would like to add an event to this list, please e-mail kathy.lu@roanoke.com.

Friday | Saturday | Sunday



Friday

  • Amanda Bocchi at Third Street Coffeehouse in Roanoke
  • Madrone at Corned Beef & Co. in Roanoke
  • Big House Dance at Buena Vista Recreation Center in Roanoke
  • Folk Soul Revival at Awful Arthur's, Towers, has been postponed
  • All Roanoke public libraries will close at noon today, and will remain closed on Saturday.
  • The New River Valley Mall in Christiansburg closed at 2 p.m. Friday. And Tanglewood and Valley View malls in Roanoke will close early at 5 p.m. On Saturday, Tanglewood will open at noon.
  • The Jacksonville Center in Floyd is closed until at least Monday. The February First Friday event featuring the Blue Ridge Camera Club has been postponed until Feb. 12.


Saturday

  • All Roanoke public libraries will remain closed on Saturday.
  • Stratmosphere on Saturday at Pulaski Theater, Pulaski
  • Chocolate Festival at University Mall in Blacksburg
  • The "Feline Accessories for home and self decoration” show at 2nd Helpings Gallery in Roanoke has been rescheduled to Feb. 27
  • The St. Maron's Lebanese Dinner at St. Elias Church
  • The Down Dexter and Honor By August show at Kirk Avenue Music Hall has been postponed
  • The Tons of Fun event at Tanglewood Mall has been rescheduled to Feb. 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • The Member One Valley Shootout at Salem Civic Center.
  • The spaghetti dinner planned by Boy Scout Troop 706 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Blacksburg has been postponed.
  • The Kevin Jones Performing Arts Studio is postponing Saturday night's free show at the Jefferson Center until Sunday night because of the weather. That means there will be two shows Sunday -- at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. For more information on the postponement or how to use your tickets, visit a blog post on SWoCo about the event.


Sunday

  • The History Museum of Western Virginia's luncheon featuring Ann Compton will be postponed to Feb. 28.
